Training Partner
Nicoleta Gherman
VIP Cabin Service & Hospitality Training Partner
Nicoleta Gherman is an international cabin crew trainer and recruiter whose career spans more than 25 years in five-star commercial and private aviation.
Over 16 years as a flight attendant and more than 14,000 flight hours, she progressed from Economy service to Business to First Class service manager, chief of cabin and, ultimately, Director of Services onboard — positions accountable for the premium service delivered across an entire cabin.
In 2013 she established her own cabin crew training centre. She has since trained and recruited thousands of candidates who now fly with more than 150 commercial and private operators, and her centre has run more than 75 selection events for air operators — including confidential recruitment for VIP-configured Boeing 737 operations and for private aircraft owners across Europe and the Middle East.
Her specialism is VIP Silver Service: the etiquette, communication, food and wine presentation and cultural awareness required to serve ultra-high-net-worth guests on private aircraft, yachts and private estates. She has continued to fly alongside her training work, keeping her instruction anchored in current onboard practice.

06
Practical service training
Hands-on exercises in service set-up, delivery and assessment, with individual feedback — training built around what crew must actually do on board.
Training Philosophy
Five-star service begins before the passenger asks.
Every passenger boards with their own cultural identity. Excellent service recognises it, prepares for it and respects it.
- Anticipate, don't reactPrepare for the passenger's likely needs in advance — confirming catering details, stocking what will be requested and removing what will not.
- Respect the person, not a scriptService adapts to each passenger's customs, faith and dietary requirements. Crew avoid intrusive topics and protect the passenger's privacy.
- Offer choices, not refusalsWhen the request cannot be met as asked, present alternatives so the guest still decides.
- Train to the employer's standardCourse content is extended and personalised to the requirements of the airlines and operators that crew will serve.
- Learn by doingPractical service exercises and individual feedback, delivered by a trainer who has led cabins at the highest service level.

Guest etiquette & cultural awareness
Etiquette, discretion and cultural adaptation shaped around the operator's actual passenger profiles and the regions it serves.
Practical service assessment
Observed service exercises with individual feedback, so improvement is demonstrated in practice rather than assumed.
Crew moving into private aviation
Professional Education support for experienced commercial crew adapting to the service expectations of private and VIP operations.
Nicoleta contributes her specialist delivery within programmes designed by EDAERO Academy. The scope of each engagement is agreed with the operator in advance. The EDAERO methodology and standards framework remain those of EDAERO Academy.
